Match 1
Ballerz fc 0–6 Davies FC
Davies FC were the sharpest side on the night, running out 6-0 winners over Ballerz fc and keeping a clean sheet as they made their mark immediately. It was a heavy first setback for Ballerz fc, who could not find a reply.
Match 2
Hakuna Mateta FC 3–3 Set 2 PE
Hakuna Mateta FC and Set 2 PE finished level at 3-3 after a game with goals at both ends. Match 3
JR Landscapes FC 4–2 Rawdon Nomads
JR Landscapes FC came through 4-2 against Rawdon Nomads, who were left to regroup after that defeat later in the evening. It was a useful win for JR Landscapes FC and a reminder that the early rounds may already start to separate the pack.
Match 4
Pro Sec FC 1–5 Rawdon Nomads
Rawdon Nomads answered back well enough by beating Pro Sec FC 5-1. After the earlier loss to JR Landscapes FC, they finished the night with a convincing response, while Pro Sec FC were left still searching for a first positive result.
Davies FC’s clean-sheet win stood out most, but the draw between Hakuna Mateta FC and Set 2 PE kept the evening nicely balanced, while JR Landscapes FC and Rawdon Nomads also banked important early victories.
